Function & Party Band Gigs in Northampton, Gloucestershire & Harrogate!

Vibetown have been covering some SERIOUS miles over the weekend providing party and function band music for an array of weddings and private parties alike! We have traveled down to Oundle in Northamptonshire, across to Moreton In Marsh in Gloucestershire and finally back up North to The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. First up was a great wedding gig at The Manor House Hotel in Gloucestershire. There were a few minor technical problems before we could fully started, mainly due to there only being 1 power socket available for the band to run the PA off, despite the fact that we need a minimum of 4! All was sorted in the end, and a blisteringly amazing night ensued. We then traveled across country to Northamptonshire to play an amazing private party at a new venue for us called Wadenhoe House Nr Oundle. We had a little trouble finding the venue at first, our Sat Nav didn't seem to like the address at all! But after asking a local we made it there on time and in one piece. WHAT A CROWD!!! These guys were well up for it from the very first note, great dancing and and amazing atmosphere to boot. We then made a return to a venue we haven't played for a while that thankfully was slightly more local! The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate is great one for us to do and only 35mins away from home too! We hadn't played here for a good year or two, so it was great to make a return and play at a great wedding gig to an appreciative crowd.

Vibetown Function Gigs in London, York & Skegness!

Its been another busy weekend of function band gigs this week for Vibetown that has seen us do around 750 miles in 3 days! We've been down to play a swanky club in London, a posh golf club in Pocklington near York and returned to play an acoustic set at Butlins, Skegness! Thursday we did the 200 mil trip to the nations capitol to play at The Arts Club in Mayfair, Central London. Vibetown are hoping to make this a regular gig, its a bit of a trek but we are always guaranteed a good crowd! The club itself is pretty exclusive and costs a massive £3,500 per year to join, so its pretty swanky! Next up came a wedding gig at The KP Golf Club in Pocklington Nr York. It was a great wedding band gig with a fantastic relaxed atmosphere throughout the night. The load in was a little tricky but ultimately worth it to play to such a great crowd! To finish up the trio of gigs, Dan & Hannah made a 240 mile round trip to play a rare acoustic set at Butlins, Skegness. A mixture of tunes were performed including old and new school soul, pop and rock favourites.

Function Wedding Band Gig in Windermere, Lake District & Leeds

Its been a great weekend of gigs that has seen the band performing live music at weddings in Leeds & Windermere in The Lake District. Our first gig saw us make a return to The Marriot Hotel in Leeds, a venue we have played quite a few times before but not since New Years Eve 2012. It was a great wedding gig and everyone had a great time dancing to a mixture of funk, pop, soul and rock music... the perfect combination for a party! Next up saw the band travel to Windermere in the Lake District, Cumbria to play at Merewood Country House Hotel. This was a new venue for us located just at the top of Windermere looking over the lake. Great venue and the perfect place for any private function, wedding or corporate event... especially if you are having a live party band!

Function, Wedding & Corporate Band Gigs in Manchester, Nottingham and Stafford!

We have been finishing off the busiest April Vibetown have ever had. This last week has seen us play at a corporate event in Manchester, a public Club gig in Nottingham and providing wedding music in Stafford. First up saw Vibetown play at Manchester Town Hall providing the evening entertainment for The Metacognitive Therapy Conference 2013. Vibetown provided a short 45min Jazz Quartet set during the evening meal and finished the night off by performing 2 party band sets with our extended 8 piece line up. It was a small event, but the crowd loved it and everyone was up dancing by the end!

Next up was a rare public performance at a new venue for Vibetown called The River Bank on the river Trent in Nottingham. We use public dates to invite potential clients to, and on our first gig here the place was packed! Great venue and a great crowd. We'll be returning to blow the roof off again on Fri July 12th, don't miss out!

The last gig of our trio this week saw us travel down to Stafford to play at a business associates sisters wedding at Brocton Hall Golf Club in Staffordshire. It was a great wedding gig with an easy load in, which is always good for us!
