From the title alone you can probably guess that its been a very busy week for everyone in Vibetown! The last 4 days have seen the band travel far across the North of the UK playing a variety of gigs from corporate events, school summer balls and weddings amongst others. First up the band made a return to
Weetwood Hall in Leeds to perform for a corporate staff event for Civic PLC. Great gig and a cool crowd with the exception of guy who nicked our gaffer tape and proceeded to wrap themselves up in it like a mummy... that was brand new 'Hazard' Gaffer tape too!
Vibetown's next gig saw the band make another return visit to play at
Yarm School in North Yorkshire to perform at the annual summer governors and parents school ball. We did a similar gig there for the staff at Yarm School back in late 2012, so it was great to be asked back to perform at there 2million auditorium. Great gig and a fantastic crowd... they were well up for having a dance as you can see form the pics below!

Vibetown then headed back down south to play at another regular venue for us called
Sandburn Hall in Flaxton Nr York for the first Wedding gig of the week. Vibetown provided music for both the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and also for the evening entertainment... what a busy day! Was well worth it though as the crowd were well up for it that evening and the night proved to be one of the best we've ever done at this venue!

Last but not least the band ended our run of gigs by playing at
Haigh Hall Country Park in Wigan for a Jewish wedding. This was another long day for the band as we had an early set up and also provided music for the drinks reception, pre-ceremonial music as well as the evening party band sets also. Was another great gig and a new venue for us. The stage was a little on the small side, but with some clever inginuity we managed to make it work and fit the band in/around the performance area. It was a bit of a late gig as everything had over ran and the band didn't take to the stage until around 10:45pm. None the less, everyone was well up for a dance and Vibetown performed a storming 90min party band set straight through. Jewish weddings are great fun and we don't do nearly enough of them! Let hope we get some more in the diary
